Ex-homeless Claude faces his biggest challenge yet

Three years ago, Claude Umuhire was homeless. Demoralised and seemingly without hope, he spent his nights sleeping on buses and park benches.

Claude came to the UK as a child to live with his mum. While just an infant, he lost his father and two siblings during the Rwandan genocide, whereby 800,000 people are estimated to have been murdered.

We are very lucky to have an incredible group of London Marathon runners raising money for The Running Charity. A big hats off to Adey Lobb of the Big Issue, Daniel Everall, Lucy Fraser-Macnamara and our very own Claude Umuhire leading the team for 2015.
